The diamond carrier made of boron offers high torsional rigidity, very low mass and extreme hardness. The samarium cobalt magnet, on the other hand, promises profound bass reproduction. Unwanted resonances are kept away by the high strength of the body. This is made of glass fiber reinforced plastic. Nevertheless, the body is lightweight, similar to the larger models in the series (MP-300 and 500).
