The boron diamond carrier offers high torsional rigidity, very low mass and extreme hardness. On the other hand, the Samarium-Cobald magnet promises a deep bass response. Unwanted resonances are kept away by the high strength of the body. The body is made of glass fibre reinforced plastic. Nevertheless, the body has a low weight, similar to the larger models in the series (MP-300 and 500).
