The 2M Black LVB 250 cartridge expands the great construction of the 2M Black with a boron cantilever and Ortofon's proprietary Nano-Tube suspension system. The result is a sound so precise and detailed that you'll feel like you've let the artist into your home and are hearing him playing right in your living room.

Features: The 2M Black LVB 250 uses a Nude Shibata diamond on a Boron cantilever, a combination known from the acclaimed MC Cadenza Black pickup. The use of an extremely stiff and lightweight boron cantilever ensures remarkable transparency, speed and responsiveness. The Nude Shibata stylus's slim, highly polished profile allows for an exceptionally wide contact area with the groove walls, ensuring remarkably detailed reproduction across the entire frequency spectrum, including the highest frequencies.

The 2M Black LVB was released to celebrate the 250th anniversary of LudwigvanBeethoven 's birth in December 2020.

Interchangeability of the 2M series pins: The motors, coils and magnet configurations of the 2M series are not identical: red and blue are identical, as are bronze and black as well as the true mono variants 2M Mono and 2M 78. Likewise, 2M series pins are identical. Pins interchangeable within the following combinations:

• 2M Mono and 2M 78
