The PAM G2 is equipped with two phono inputs and is therefore suitable for all users who want to operate two turntables or tonearms. Amplification, input resistance and capacitance are set separately for each input on the rear of the device with six rotary switches.

The PAM G2 is the first phono preamplifier ever to which two turntables or tonearms can be connected at the same time. The PAM G2 system includes an external precision power supply for a highly accurate and ultra-stable power supply as well as a controller that allows all functions to be operated remotely and all settings to be shown on a large display. This makes it possible for the first time to select the inputs by remote control and to determine the gain, input resistance and capacitance separately for each input and to change them during operation. The new PAM G2 is aimed at all connoisseurs and connoisseurs who place the highest uncompromising demands on sound, technology, flexibility and usability.

The new PAM G2 plays records with an astonishing wealth of information and reveals even the smallest nuances with full emotion. It is characterized by outstanding naturalness and attention to detail. Please note:

The PAM G2 system can only be operated with the external precision power supply controller EPC if they are purchased together. The PAM G2 system must be equipped with the optional 40-pin input connector at the factory - this is not possible later!

Expansion with the external precision power pack EPS G2 or EPX

The EPS G2 or the EPX are precision external voltage sources specially designed for small-signal analog processing. They provide extremely precise and load-independent supply voltages and cause an active and effective decoupling of the PAM G2 from negative influences of the public power grid.
In addition, the spatial separation or outsourcing of the power supply fundamentally prevents possible interference with the highly sensitive signal processing in the PAM G2 through magnetic, electrical or mechanical leakage from the internal power supply.

In terms of sound, the EPS G2 or the EPX cause a clearly understandable increase in stability and calm as well as in room illumination and tonal purity. Music is reproduced more naturally, with freer expression and with even greater luminosity.

The EPS G2 or the EPX is connected to the PAM G2 via a 7-pin connection cable and switched on and off by it. It is suitable for both devices with one and two inputs.

Expansion with the external precision power supply controller EPC

Like the EPS G2 or the EPX, the EPC is an external precision voltage source with the properties described above.

In addition, the EPC has a powerful, remote-controlled flash microcontroller unit that operates all the functions of the PAM G2 - on/off switching, input selection, adjustment of gain, input resistance and capacitance. All parameters can be set during operation. The control takes place via purely analogue signals. This has succeeded in completely decoupling the PAM G2 from the digital controller and preventing digital interference.

The EPC has a large vacuum fluorescent display with 2 lines of 16 characters each and provides information about all operating statuses and settings in plain text.

The EPC is connected to the PAM G2 via a 7-pin and a 40-pin connection cable and is remote-controlled via the programmable Audionet system remote control Harmony Ultimate One.
