This set combines the high-end Pro-Ject Signature 10 turntable with the low-output Sumiko Starling MC cartridge at a particularly attractive package price. Vinyl enthusiasts thus receive a perfectly matched combination of a high-quality turntable, a precise tonearm, and a top-of-the-line audiophile cartridge.

The Signature 10 was developed to meet the highest sonic demands. Its design combines sophisticated mechanical decoupling, a solid drive unit, and a high-precision tonearm to create a system that reproduces music with exceptional tranquility, precision, and dynamics.

Removable headshell for maximum flexibility

The tonearm is equipped with an SME-standard headshell mount. This allows different cartridges to be mounted on separate headshells. Switching between different systems – for example, between stereo and mono cartridges – is therefore possible within seconds.

With its 10-inch length, the tonearm significantly reduces tracking angle error compared to classic 9-inch tonearms. This minimizes tracking distortion and improves the precision and naturalness of the playback.

Subchassis construction for maximum smoothness

The Signature 10 utilizes a sophisticated sub-chassis design that ensures exceptionally smooth and interference-free playback. The platter's bearing spindle and the tonearm are mounted on a metal sub-chassis, which is decoupled from the main chassis via Sorbothane® damping. This design effectively reduces mechanical influences and vibrations.

Additionally, an inverted, magnetically supported platter bearing is used. Two repelling neodymium magnets significantly reduce the load on the bearing from the heavy platter. This improves the smoothness of the bearing's operation and reduces rumble noise to a minimum.

Heavy turntable with resonance damping

The resonance-optimized turntable features a sophisticated sandwich construction. A polished aluminum platter is complemented by TPE damping, while a precisely ground vinyl mat ensures optimal contact with the record.

Weighing approximately 10.5 kilograms, the platter ensures high rotational stability and smooth spinning. A record puck further improves the contact between the record and the platter surface.

Effective decoupling through magnetic feet

The turntable stands on three specially designed feet that achieve effective mechanical decoupling using magnetic fields. This effectively reduces vibrations from the surroundings and further improves playback conditions.

High-quality materials and elegant surfaces

The Signature 10 also impresses visually with its exclusive materials and meticulous craftsmanship. In addition to the elegant black piano lacquer finish, the turntable is also available in several exquisite veneer options, including mahogany, olive, rosewood, and walnut burl – each available in either a high-gloss or satin finish.
