Once you have taken it in your heart, you usually don't want to do without it.
Over the years there have always been new findings which have led to changes, mostly in detail. But only when the 'test listeners' gave their OK - then these changes found their way into the series.
Such a step was always very cautious - with a one-off production to order, the resulting costs for such a step are enormously high (sometimes the minimum order value is a lot higher than the material value and a higher number of pieces than is currently required is the rule).
The MK III version that is now available was also based on the development experience from a completely different product. However, they were such a convincing step forward (wherever that is) that a MK III version simply could not be avoided.
The sound results of a Model 42 MK III cannot be described in words - as with so many audio products - and is therefore omitted at this point.
For MC systems only. Symmetrical inputs and outputs. A shielding of the input cable is not necessary and may be several meters - therefore phono stages from BLUE AMP do not have a ground connection (anymore). Various parameters are switched with high quality relays. Handmade. Highest quality components - assembled by hand and soldered lead-free.
Each time it is switched on, all relays complete a cleaning sequence for all relay contacts - this means that the manufacturer's specifications are adhered to perfectly at all times - an absolutely innovative and unique feature that is only available from BLUE AMP.
And the durability? A model 42 MK III is a product for your grandchildren.
