The Acoustic Signature TA-10000 NEO represents the most consistent development stage within the NEO series. Its design is geared towards maximum precision, minimal friction and long-term mechanical stability, and is aimed at uncompromising analog reference systems.
The highly damped, multi-structure aluminum tonearm tube forms the structural basis of the TA-10000 NEO. Combined with preloaded, high-precision DLC-coated ball bearings, this enables extremely low-friction, precise movement. The DLC-treated bearings are characterized by high wear resistance and vibration-absorbing properties. This is complemented by a newly developed stainless steel NEO tonearm axle, which further increases rigidity and smoothness.
The internal, continuous cabling made of 4N pure silver ensures low-loss signal transmission. A 1.5-meter, 5-pin Atlas Equator phono cable is included and can be fitted with either RCA or XLR connectors.
The TA-10000 NEO offers on-the-fly VTA adjustment, which can be made during operation without negatively affecting the tonal characteristics. Azimuth can be precisely adjusted via a gear behind the headshell. Anti-skating is controlled by tension. A finely adjustable brass counterweight with secure clamping allows for precise matching with high-quality cartridges.
The tonearm is available in 9-inch or 12-inch versions and is mounted using the SME standard. Visually, the TA-10000 NEO is available in several finishes, including silver and black.
Acoustic Signature offers a five-year warranty on the TA-10000 NEO for products registered from October 2020 onwards.
