The slide moves almost smoothly, only pulled by the scanning needle, inwards without tracking error angles on an analog ideal line, as it was specified when cutting. High-precision ball bearings made of V4 steel run on a meticulously polished glass tube without any lubricant or external drive.
If you miss the folding mechanism of the TT2 or TT3 and thus the completely free access to the recorded record, the 'Swing Base' specially developed by Clearaudio is the ideal complement to the TT5.
