Revolutionary sound, timeless design

As an entry-level package with a specially developed tonearm and cartridge, the concept set new standards in terms of sound quality, pricing and design. After over 10 years of constant consistency, Clearaudio presents the concept Signature, which offers further increased performance and advanced features through several updates. The basic idea remains purpose-oriented and user-friendly - all parameters are perfectly set at the factory.

Material innovation and precision design

The drive body of the concept Signature consists of medium-density wood fiber or alternatively solid wood layers bonded under high pressure. The upper layer is made of specially satin-finished plastic, which not only ensures a perfect look but also minimizes resonances. The turntable is driven by a ground flat belt, which is operated by a completely decoupled DC motor. The power is supplied via a generously sized, highly stable and external power supply.

Innovative control technology for superior performance

The newly developed control technology of the concept Signature includes integrated auto-calibration, expanded setting options and the innovative Tacho Speed Control (“TSC”). This function continuously monitors the speed of the drive and provides real-time feedback to the control electronics. This means that the system reacts immediately to changing influences such as decreasing belt tension, friction of the turntable bearing or temperature fluctuations. Manual recalibration is possible at the push of a button on the back of the drive.

Design, modularity and recommendations

The concept Signature impresses not only in terms of sound but also aesthetically. The design sets new accents, especially through the newly designed surface with illuminated touch controls for intuitive operation. The large selection of Clearaudio tonearms and cartridges allows for individual adjustment.
