New Technics turntable SL-1300G
The direct-drive SL-1300G turntable from Technics sets new standards in the Grand Class for lovers of high-quality vinyl sound. With the innovative Delta-Sigma (?S) motor control, which was already introduced in the SL-1200GR2, and a powerful double-rotor direct-drive motor, it offers an incomparable listening experience. The complex construction of the turntable, consisting of three layers - die-cast aluminum, brass and rubber - ensures excellent vibration damping and thus exceptional sound purity. This is complemented by an extremely low-noise switching power supply that eliminates any interference and lets your vinyl treasures shine with new sound brilliance. The minimalist design guarantees simple and intuitive operation - the SL-1300G is all about the joy of music.
Turntable section
The SL-1300G uses a direct drive brushless DC motor that operates at three speeds (33 1/3, 45 and 78 rpm). Thanks to a starting torque of 3.3 kg*cm, it reaches its rated speed in just 0.7 seconds. The wow and flutter are extremely low at 0.025% WRMS, while the rumble value is an impressive 78 dB (IEC 98 A weighted). The robust turntable with a diameter of 332 mm and a weight of 3.6 kg including rubber mat minimizes unwanted vibrations and ensures stable and precise rotation.
Tonearm section
The statically balanced tonearm has an effective length of 230 mm and an overhang of 15 mm. With a tracking angle error of a maximum of 2° 32' on the outer groove and 0° 32' on the inner groove of a 30 cm (12") record, it guarantees the highest precision when playing. The offset angle is 22°. The tonearm can be adjusted in height from 0 to 6 mm and the needle pressure can be adjusted directly from 0 to 4 g. The sound head weighs around 7.6 g. The record player supports a variety of pickup systems weighing 5.6–28.5 g, depending on the additional weight used.
Audio output
The SL-1300G is equipped with a phono output (RCA) and a ground terminal.
General data
The turntable is powered by an AC 220-240 V, 50/60 Hz power supply and consumes 10 W in operation and only 0.3 W in standby mode. With compact dimensions of 453 x 173 x 372 mm and a weight of around 13 kg, it fits perfectly into any audio setup. The SL-1300G works reliably at temperatures from 0 °C to +40 °C and a humidity of 35% to 80% without condensation.
