New Technics turntable SL-1300G
The Technics SL-1300G direct-drive turntable sets new standards in the Grand Class for discerning vinyl enthusiasts. Featuring the innovative Delta-Sigma (ΔS) motor control, first introduced in the SL-1200GR2, and a powerful twin-rotor direct-drive motor, it delivers an unparalleled listening experience. The sophisticated platter construction, consisting of three layers – die-cast aluminum, brass, and rubber – ensures excellent vibration damping and thus exceptional sonic purity. This is complemented by an extremely low-noise switching power supply that eliminates any unwanted noise, allowing your vinyl treasures to shine with new sonic brilliance. The minimalist design guarantees simple and intuitive operation – the SL-1300G is all about the joy of music.
Turntable section
The SL-1300G uses a direct-drive, brushless DC motor that operates at three speeds (33 1/3, 45, and 78 RPM). Thanks to a starting torque of 3.3 kg*cm, it reaches its rated speed in just 0.7 seconds. Wow and flutter are extremely low at 0.025% WRMS, while the rumble level is an impressive 78 dB (IEC 98 A weighted). The robust platter, with a diameter of 332 mm and a weight of 3.6 kg including the rubber mat, minimizes unwanted vibrations and ensures stable and precise rotation.
tonearm section
The statically balanced tonearm has an effective length of 230 mm and an overhang of 15 mm. With a tracking error of no more than 2° 32' on the outer groove and 0° 32' on the inner groove of a 30 cm (12") record, it guarantees the highest playback precision. The tracking angle is 22°. The tonearm height is adjustable from 0 to 6 mm, and the stylus pressure can be directly set from 0 to 4 g. The headshell weighs approximately 7.6 g. The turntable supports a wide variety of cartridges weighing between 5.6 and 28.5 g, depending on the ballast used.
Audio output
The SL-1300G is equipped with a phono output (RCA) and a grounding terminal.
General data
The turntable operates on an AC 220–240 V, 50/60 Hz power supply and consumes 10 W during operation and only 0.3 W in standby mode. With compact dimensions of 453 x 173 x 372 mm and a weight of approximately 13 kg, it fits perfectly into any audio setup. The SL-1300G operates reliably at temperatures from 0 °C to +40 °C and humidity levels from 35% to 80% without condensation.

Included in the delivery are the turntable, a turntable mat, a dust cover, an EP adapter, a counterweight, additional weights, a cartridge spacer, a cartridge head, an overhang meter, a cartridge screw set, a phono cable, a phono ground cable, a power cable and an instruction manual.
