For the first time, the Planar 3 is built with a high-pressure laminated chassis , commonly used in the premium Planar 6, Planar 8 and Planar 10 models. This laminate provides significantly greater rigidity, reducing unwanted resonance and enabling a clearer, more dynamic sound. This is complemented by a new satin-like brushed aluminum finish that gives the turntable a luxurious feel.
