The uniquely shiny surface of the Synergy Diamond Series anniversary model is created by hand in a complex and lengthy process and symbolizes the decades of tradition and exceptional manufacturing quality for which SME is famous worldwide.

The SME Synergy Diamond Series is SME's first integrated turntable. In the Synergy Diamond Series, the highest quality assemblies from leading audio manufacturers merge into an outstanding turntable. With the Synergy Diamond Series, SME has heralded a new era in drive design using the latest high-tech materials from aerospace technology, which enable perfect decoupling.

The Synergy Diamond Series is equipped with an integrated high-quality phono stage based on the well-known BPS from the Swiss specialist NAGRA, an MC system from Ortofon of the Windfeld TI type and silver cabling from CrystalCable. The tonearm is an SME IV in black special edition with 'Synergy' imprint. The Synergy Diamond Series is a composition of the best audiophile ingredients available on the market and fascinates from the first note with its perfect and closed music reproduction. Every single component of the drive was developed by experienced SME engineers and manufactured to the strictest tolerances. Best workmanship, noble materials and the craftsmanship of trained hands form the basis for years of untroubled musical enjoyment.

The base of the Model 12 is made of solid aluminum and is milled in a complex and lengthy process on an ultra-precise high-tech 5-axis CNC machine in 120 minutes. The bearing is a robust and durable precision bearing from SME with a phosphor bronze pillow block. The platter is a sandwich construction with high flywheel mass and excellent damping. The plate support is a micro-profiled material from aerospace. The plate clamp ensures a perfect coupling.
