A new prime example in the construction of multi-channel amplifiers is our 5-channel power amplifier RMB-1555. Regardless of whether it is used in a high-class home cinema or as a powerful multi-zone amplifier - this multi-channel power amplifier is convincing in all respects.
As it should be for ROTEL, the output power of 120 watts per channel is given rather conservatively, but this value was measured over the entire frequency range from 20Hz-20kHz and with simultaneous operation of all channels! The RMB-1555 impresses in almost all systems and rooms with a performance that excellently masters the balancing act of high sensitivity and sheer power.
The classically structured linear amplifier power supply is based on an extremely solid toroidal transformer, which ensures stable voltage conditions in all cases and converts high peak currents when required. Its extremely low stray field protects the sensitive amplifier trains from harmful interference. The other components are also convincing due to the care taken in their selection. After critical measurement tests and extensive listening sessions, only components come into question here that prove to be outstanding.
Only discrete output transistors are used in the RMB-1555; their high thermal stability is far superior to integrated circuits, and the achievable performance values speak clearly in favor of this design principle.
Solid speaker connections and a 12 V trigger input also make the RMB-1555 extremely practical.
The new RMB-1555 is a multi-channel amplifier for all areas of application and combines excellent playback quality with high operational reliability. A real 'best buy'!
