LIFES amplifier architecture – the evolution of ODNF

At the heart of the P-100 CENTENNIAL is the newly developed LIFES amplifier concept, a consistent evolution of the proven ODNF (Only Distortion Negative Feedback) technology. For over 20 years, ODNF has been selectively minimizing distortion and preserving natural musicality. LIFES takes it a step further:

• Fully symmetrical power amplifier architecture with four discrete amplifier blocks
• Selected high-performance components for maximum sound purity
• New FETs in the voltage amplification stage for even lower distortion.
• Output distortion halved, signal-to-noise ratio improved by more than 3dB

Precise volume control – LECUA-EX

• The LECUA-EX digital volume control enables extremely fine, precise control, which is crucial for headphones:
• 200 levels in 0.5dB increments
• Three sensitivity levels for different headphone impedances
• Left/right balance in 0.5dB increments
• Six volume limits to protect ears and headphones
• Large 3-digit LED display for clear level indication
• This allows the P-100 to be optimally adapted to a wide variety of headphones – without loss of sound quality or distortion.
