The ARCAM AVA15 AV receiver combines powerful performance with modern home cinema technology and impressive sound precision. Developed in Cambridge, UK, and based on over 30 years of experience in surround sound, this model represents the highest audio quality and innovative technology. Music, movies, and TV series benefit from exceptional clarity, palpable depth, and precise spatial imaging.
Inside, a powerful Class-D amplifier delivers 9 x 100 watts into 8 ohms. This technology ensures high efficiency, dynamic power reserves, and precise, controlled sound reproduction. Even demanding speaker setups like 7.1.2 or 5.1.4 are driven effortlessly. At the same time, the AVA15 offers flexible expansion options for additional height, surround, or subwoofer speakers.
Modern 3D audio formats like Dolby Atmos and DTS:X create a realistic, three-dimensional sound field. Sounds move freely in space and are positioned precisely where they belong. Additionally, Dirac Live room correction automatically optimizes the sound to the acoustic properties of the listening room. Dirac Live Bass Control and Active Room Treatment are available as options for even more precise fine-tuning.
Future-proof HDMI 2.1a technology enables support for 8K/60Hz and 4K/120Hz. Dynamic HDR formats such as Dolby Vision, HDR10+, and HLG ensure impressive picture quality, while VRR and ALLM offer particular advantages for gaming applications. This makes the AVA15 a powerful control center for modern home theater systems.
Extensive streaming capabilities significantly expand the range of applications. Apple AirPlay, Google Cast, Spotify Connect, Tidal Connect, and Qobuz Connect are integrated, as is Roon Ready. High-resolution audio formats up to 24-bit/192kHz are supported, including FLAC, WAV, MQA, ALAC, and other common formats. Bluetooth 5.4 with Snapdragon Sound and Auracast ensures stable, high-quality wireless audio transmission.
Comfort is also a key focus: A generous 6.5-inch high-resolution color display clearly shows status information and metadata. Intuitive on-screen menus and the ARCAM Radia app enable easy setup, control, and playback of internet radio, podcasts, or UPnP content. The overall concept is rounded off by plastic-free packaging and comprehensive accessories, including a measuring microphone and remote control.
