With the AVP45, ARCAM presents a 16-channel AV processor designed specifically for discerning hi-fi enthusiasts and home cinema purists. Developed in Cambridge, UK, it combines state-of-the-art multi-channel processing with audiophile signal architecture – forming the heart of high-performance, high-end installations.

Extensive configuration options

At its core is a high-quality DAC architecture, the same one used in ARCAM's flagship stereo models. The result is exceptionally transparent, detailed, and dynamically powerful reproduction – even with complex, object-based soundtracks. With 16 discrete channels, the AVP45 offers extensive configuration options for immersive, reference-level speaker setups.

Thanks to Matrix Channel Assignment, channel allocation can be flexibly adapted to individual room and system requirements. Whether dedicated home theater, hybrid solution for music and film, or high-performance gaming setup – the AVP45 offers maximum freedom in system architecture.

Authentic soundstage guaranteed

All relevant 3D audio formats are supported, including Dolby Atmos, DTS:X, IMAX Enhanced, and Auro-3D. Dirac Live Room Correction ensures precise acoustic integration into the listening room by optimizing both frequency response and time alignment, thus enabling a controlled, coherent, and authentic soundstage.

The fully balanced XLR outputs ensure the highest signal purity, making the AVP45 the ideal control center in combination with high-quality power amplifiers – such as the ARCAM PA9 Class G power amplifier. This creates a system that impressively combines power, microdynamics, and musical coherence.

Compatible with many streaming apps

The AVP45 also boasts state-of-the-art connectivity: HDMI with eARC, Bluetooth 5.4 including Auracast, and support for Apple AirPlay, Google Cast, Spotify Connect, Qobuz Connect, Tidal Connect, and Roon enable seamless integration into modern streaming environments. Hi-Res audio formats up to 24-bit/192 kHz are, of course, supported.

A high-resolution 6.5-inch color display, a clearly structured user interface and convenient setup via the ARCAM Radia app complete the overall concept.
