The Rega Saturn MK3 CD/DAC
The new Saturn MK3 was housed in the housing design of the new Rega generation. It offers complete flexibility and integration into any audio system.
It is equipped with an independent DAC circuit and a high quality CD player. Both are fully controllable via the supplied Solaris remote control.

The Saturn MK3 features two optical inputs, two Co-Axial inputs, a fully asynchronous USB input and a 'straight' digital output from the CD playback section.
As a result, the Saturn MK3 can be perfectly integrated into any audio system and is the perfect partner for the upcoming Rega Elicit MK5 integrated amplifier, both visually and technically.
CDP features
The Saturn MK3 uses Rega's proven digital-to-analog converter and analog output amplifier technology in conjunction with two Wolfson WM8742 digital-to-analog converter ICs.

In the technique, highly stable master clocks and a high-capacity power supply were implemented in the circuit. A powerful PLL digital interface receiver ensures safe and stable operation.
The signal switching between the CD and DAC functions is performed in the digital-to-analog converter stage. The signal path was kept to a minimum in the CD section.
USB 192kHz-24bit asynchronous
The DAC USB input has been improved in asynchronous operation at sampling rates from 44.1 to 192 kHz with a bit rate of up to 24 bits. The USB input has the same galvanic isolation as the Rega DAC-R. The USB uses special drivers on your computer that eliminate signal degradation caused by generic Windows drivers.
