T+A MP 2500 R G3 Mulit Source SACD-Player

The MP 2500 R G3 is one of the most complex and sophisticated multi-source players ever developed by T+A. It was specially designed for the uncompromising playback of high-resolution audio data and offers a state-of-the-art SACD drive as well as numerous other functions for the ultimate high-end music experience.

SACD drive and connection options

Compared to its predecessor, the MP 2000 R, the MP 2500 R G3 has an advanced SACD drive that enables more precise playback. In addition, it integrates numerous SP-DIF connections, an FM/FM-HD and DAB+ tuner, Internet radio and modern streaming services such as Apple AirPlay 2 and Connect functions.

Path Separation Technology

A special feature of the MP 2500 R G3 is the Path Separation Technology, which ensures separate signal processing for different audio formats. Dedicated converters for PCM and DSD signals enable precise processing of this data, resulting in optimal sound quality.

T+A Digital-Analog Separation System (DAS)

To minimize interference, T+A has developed the Digital-Analog Separation System (DAS), which ensures complete separation of the digital and analog units. This contributes to interference-free signal transmission via balanced (XLR) or unbalanced (RCA) outputs.

User comfort and control options

The MP 2500 R G3 offers a high level of user convenience thanks to the SRC 2 system remote control and the T+A MusicNavigator G3 app. This enables intuitive control of the player and connected amplifiers from the T+A R series.

Audiophile streaming architecture (ASA G3)

The third generation Audiophile Streaming Architecture maximizes the sound potential and supports a wide range of sources, including Wi-Fi, LAN and USB Master Mode sources. It enables access to streaming services and playback of DSD files directly from the network.

De-jitter master clocking system

The two-stage de-jitter master clocking system eliminates the smallest interference signals (jitter) and ensures that the audio data is passed on to the digital-to-analog converter in perfect sync. This significantly improves the sound quality.

Powerful PCM and DSD converter

For PCM data, the MP 2500 R G3 uses a quadruple converter with a 56-bit signal processor and four 32-bit converter chips per channel. The True 1-bit converter handles native processing of DSD data, ensuring faithful reproduction.

High-end SACD drive

Despite the declining market share of SACDs and CDs, T+A remains true to the technology and offers a high-quality SACD drive with short access times, excellent error correction and interference-free playback. This enables CDs and SACDs to be played in the highest quality.
