The LUMIN N1 was specifically designed for discerning music lovers who want to get the most out of their streaming and network audio system. As an audiophile 10-port network switch, it combines maximum flexibility with consistent noise reduction, creating the ideal foundation for interference-free music playback.

With four SFP fiber optic ports and six RJ45 network ports, the N1 acts as the central hub of your entire network. The fiber optic connections provide complete galvanic isolation between the network and hi-fi components, effectively protecting sensitive audio equipment from electrical interference. Simultaneously, the six RJ45 ports ensure stable and high-performance connections for all network devices at a central node.

Maximum isolation for the highest sound quality

The four SFP fiber ports enable the use of optical network connections, achieving complete electrical isolation. This minimizes potential sources of interference and creates a particularly clean data foundation for high-quality streaming components, network players, and DACs.

Precise clocking thanks to 10 MHz clock input

For the highest demands on timing and synchronization, the LUMIN N1 features an external 10 MHz clock input. This enables synchronization with the clock generator of a LUMIN U2X or an external master clock. The result is exceptionally precise and low-jitter data transmission across the entire system.

Complex linear power supply

Inside, a specially developed ultra-low-noise power supply with a generously sized toroidal transformer is at work. Unlike conventional network switches with external switched-mode power supplies, the N1 relies on a high-quality linear power supply housed in a shielded enclosure. This minimizes interference and creates optimal conditions for signal transmission.

Easy integration

The LUMIN N1 requires no configuration. Simply plug it in and immediately benefit from an optimized network environment. The high-quality aluminum housing is visually similar to the LUMIN D3 and U2 Mini models and is available in either black anodized or silver.
