The Luxman D-10X is a reference CD and SACD player with integrated D/A conversion, meeting the highest demands for precision, resolution, and musicality. Weighing in at 22.4 kg, it is not only a visual but also a sonic giant in the hi-fi sector.
Mechanics and drive
The D-10X utilizes the new LxDTM-i transport mechanism with a highly rigid box and steel plate construction that minimizes vibrations and ensures the highest read accuracy. 8 mm thick aluminum side walls and a 5 mm thick steel plate protect the drive and provide stable, quiet operation. The mechanism is dustproof and sealed for maximum stability and durability.
High-performance DAC and digital signal processing
At its core are two ROHM BD34301EKV "MUS-IC" DAC chips in mono mode, capable of processing PCM up to 768 kHz / 32-bit and DSD up to 22.4 MHz / 1-bit. The D-10X supports full MQA decoding, ensuring accurate playback of both MQA CDs and high-resolution files. A high-precision clock module with extremely low phase noise minimizes jitter and guarantees clean, noise-free signal processing.
Analog output stage
The discrete, fully symmetrical ODNF-u output amplifiers deliver a balanced output voltage of 2.4 V / 300 Ω. Each analog section is dual-mono, ensuring detailed, transparent, and dynamic reproduction.

The D-10X features large power transformers with 27% higher capacity compared to previous models, independent voltage regulators for each circuit, and generous filter capacitors. The chassis protects against magnetic fields, grounding issues, and digital noise, ensuring an optimal signal path from disc to output: Read – Convert – Output.
