The Luxman C-10X embodies the essence of state-of-the-art preamplifier technology and represents the new flagship in the Luxman product range.

Every aspect of this device has been designed to deliver musical naturalness, dynamics, and spatial imaging at the highest level. With an impressively three-dimensional soundstage, the C-10X conveys an authentic musical experience that vividly portrays both the nuances of an intimate recording and the energy of a large orchestra.

At the heart of the C-10X lies the LIFES 1.0 amplifier feedback system, which minimizes distortion and preserves the natural character of the signal. Together with the newly developed LECUA-EX volume control – an electronically controlled transformer attenuator with 192 discrete stages – the preamplifier ensures precise, fine-tuned volume control without compromising sound quality. The rotary mechanism has been reweighted, giving the solid, machined aluminum knob a particularly controlled and satisfying feel.

The signal paths are fully symmetrical and directly connected to the LECUA-EX circuitry. This enables exceptionally low distortion, high dynamic range, and flawless spatial imaging. The ODNF feedback system selectively addresses only the distorted signal components, ensuring that natural musicality is preserved – even at high volume levels.

The C-10X's power supply was designed for maximum stability: A CI-core power transformer and seven 3,300 µF filter capacitors deliver dedicated, clean power to each channel. This ensures that even high-performance amplifiers are driven reliably and precisely, while external and internal vibrations are effectively dampened by the solid cast iron feet and the loopless chassis structure.

The controls are as well-designed as the technology. Almost all functions can be controlled via the RA-20 aluminum remote: volume, input selection, bi-amping configurations, balanced phase switching, output mode, and tone controls. The fluorescent display with zoom function offers excellent readability even from a distance and clearly and concisely displays status information such as volume, input source, or selected functions.

Visually, the C-10X combines timeless elegance with modern precision: The finely milled aluminum front panel contrasts harmoniously with the clean lines of the housing. The three-dimensional design conveys not only robustness but also the aesthetic presence of a flagship product that impresses both visually and acoustically.
