2yu is an advanced digital audio interface for the Chord 2go. Together, the 2go and 2yu function as a fully-fledged stand-alone streamer that can be used with external D / A converters and other devices such as the Chord M Scaler (up to 768 kHz). 2yu connects directly to 2go to add optical S / PDIF, coaxial and BNC digital outputs (both 75 ohms) from TOSLINK as well as a cleverly integrated USB-A output. 2yu has a processing power of 2,000 MIPS (millions of instructions per second), an integrated sample rate converter and low-jitter audio phase-locked loop. The combination of 2go and 2yu is extremely flexible in its potential applications and is also ideal for discrete streaming solutions based on Roon: the duo can be connected to an Ethernet port and thus stream music in any room. 2yu alone can also be used as a high quality USB to digital audio converter with PCs and Macs. Like all Chord Electronics products, 2yu is handcrafted in the UK. Like the Hugo 2, the 2yu also has four spherical control elements that are illuminated in different colors and that control the functions for output selection, power, muting and dimming.
Compatibility: To use 2yu you need a Chord Electronics 2go. (Use with PC / MAC via USB is also possible to a limited extent).
