The Innuos NET3 is a reference-class network switch specifically designed for the demands of sophisticated streaming systems. As the direct successor to the renowned PhoenixNET, it serves as a stable, interference-free foundation for digital audio chains and integrates seamlessly with the STREAM3, both technically and aesthetically.
Key technological features & signal optimization
WaveNET technology with SFP interface: The core of the NET3 is based on the WaveNET board, whose architecture is directly derived from the flagship NazaréNET model. By integrating an SFP port, the switch enables galvanic isolation via fiber optics (fiber connectivity). This effectively isolates high-frequency interference, which is ubiquitous in modern home networks, from the audio signal.
Precise clocking and decoupling: To reduce jitter to an absolute minimum, the NET3 utilizes an ultra-precise OCXO clock. The clock and the WaveNET board are powered by strictly separated, independent voltage regulators. This prevents mutual interference and guarantees maximum signal purity.
Resonance-optimized housing design: The solid, CNC-milled aluminum chassis not only protects the sensitive electronics from electromagnetic interference (EMI), but also adheres to the design philosophy of the STREAM3 in terms of dimensions and design. The mechanical design minimizes microphonic effects and ensures a coherent overall appearance in the rack.
