DELA S1 – High-End Network Switch for audiophile applications
DELA has been shaping the audio network switch market for more than ten years. With the S1, the company now presents a high-end model that represents the culmination of its many years of experience and development work.
Important features
Full-frame body:
The S1 features a 3 mm thick stainless steel chassis with solid aluminum panels. This construction ensures maximum stability and effective vibration dampening.
Powerful power supply:
A generously dimensioned transformer and a powerful capacitor bank ensure a stable and clean power supply.
Ultra-Low Jitter Clock:
An NDK ultra-low-jitter clock is used. The S1 also supports the connection of an external 10 MHz clock.
Flexible connectivity:
4× SFP+ ports for high-speed modules up to 10 Gbps and the DELA SFP direct connection cable C1.
7× Neutrik RJ45 ports, known for their precise fit and robustness.
Adjustable link speed:
The speeds can be individually adjusted using a button on the front:
RJ45 ports: 1Gbps, 100Mbps or 10Mbps
SFP+ ports: 1 Gbps or 10 Gbps*
Optimized network usage:
Unnecessary ports can be completely deactivated, allowing the network to be precisely tailored to the connected devices.
Visual status display:
Color LEDs on the front indicate the respective port speed (default: 1 Gbps = light blue).
The brightness can be adjusted using a dimmer button; status LEDs on the front can be completely switched off if necessary.
The LEDs on the back, which indicate the connection quality, can also be deactivated after the test has been completed.
Handcrafted – Made in Japan:
The S1 is manufactured by experienced specialists in Nagoya (Aichi Prefecture) – a region with decades of tradition in precision and electronics manufacturing.
