With the new DELA S5, DELA presents its most powerful network switch to date for audiophile streaming systems. Building on the experience gained from the S100, S100/2, S10, and the reference model S1, the S5 combines state-of-the-art network technology with uncompromising sound quality and high-grade Japanese manufacturing.

The DELA S5 was specifically developed for demanding hi-fi and high-end systems, where even the slightest network interference can affect sound quality. Thanks to its optimized signal processing, extremely precise clock technology, and a power supply tailored to audio applications, the S5 ensures maximum stability, reduced jitter, and exceptionally clean data transmission over the network.

The robust enclosure is based on the "Highly Stable Chassis Construction" (HS-CC). Aluminum sides and surfaces, a stainless steel rear panel with a hairline finish, and a particularly stable 3 mm steel chassis minimize vibrations and electromagnetic interference. The result is a quiet, low-resonance platform for high-quality network audio components.

Inside, DELA's proprietary "Super Clear Dynamic Power Supply" is at work. This high-quality power supply combines high power reserves with a particularly clean voltage supply – an important basis for stable and interference-free audio performance.

For maximum precision, DELA relies on an ultra-low jitter clock generator from NDK. This minimizes digital clock errors and improves signal quality throughout the network – a crucial advantage for high-resolution music streaming.

The DELA S5 features four SFP+ ports for modern 10-Gigabit connections and seven high-quality Neutrik RJ45 LAN ports. The professional Neutrik connectors impress with their exceptionally precise contact and high mechanical stability. Both 10Gbps SFP+ modules and the DELA Direct Attach Cable "C1" are supported.

The variable speed control of all ports is particularly practical. The RJ45 ports can be individually configured to 1 Gbps, 100 Mbps, or even 10 Mbps. The SFP+ ports can also be flexibly switched between 1 Gbps and 10 Gbps. Unused ports can be completely deactivated to further reduce potential interference and optimally adapt the network to the respective configuration.

Multicolored LED indicators on the front and back provide clear information about connection status and transmission speeds. For the clearest possible playback, all LEDs can be dimmed or completely deactivated.

Like all high-quality DELA components, the S5 is manufactured in Japan. Production takes place in Nagoya, a region with a long tradition of precision and high-end equipment manufacturing. Each switch is assembled and tested there by specially trained professionals.
