What is the FraimLite rack system?

FraimLite is a rack system that allows you to display and store your Naim components in a visually attractive way. If you want to put components from other manufacturers in this rack, please contact us first, as this could cause mechanical problems. It is suitable for Naim entry-level systems and is based on the design of the Fraim. FraimLite consists of a base level and several assembly levels that are isolated from each other by spikes and plates.

In contrast to the Fraim, the base level of the FraimLite consists of one frame instead of two, without the use of glass shelves. Thanks to the modular design, the FraimLite can be expanded if the system is expanded. FraimLite and Fraim levels can also be freely combined.

It’s your turn: What should your rack look like?

You have a lot of freedom when putting together the rack. But a lot of freedom also means a lot of decisions that have to be made. You can decide on the number of levels, the space you need between the levels for your equipment, and the color of the side panels and rack floors.

The structure, adapted to your needs

A FraimLite rack consists of the base level and, if you like, several assembly levels.

The construction levels:

• EXT assembly level: 280mm usable height between levels
• MED assembly level: 206mm usable height between levels
• STD build level: 131mm usable height between levels

The colors:

The side panels can be supplied in natural aluminum or black. You have a little more choice when it comes to the color of the floors. Choose between:

• Light ash
• Ash black
• Dark cherry

Fraim vs. Fraimlite

Naim uses two different rack models: Fraim and Fraimlite. The Fraim rack is absolutely high-end, a reference and gets the best out of your components. Fraimlite is more intended for entry-level systems, as there are more and larger contact points between the levels. The structure of Fraim and Fraimlite differs greatly in some respects. However, they can be combined with one another if you only need one Fraimlite level for certain components.

Finally: The technology

The FraimLite reduces the design principles of the Fraim to the essentials and represents an affordable rack for entry-level components. Despite this reduction, the FraimLite offers high sound performance and a timeless design. The Fraim concept is based on development expertise and is also fully reflected in the FraimLite.

Instead of two frames, each with a set of spikes, only one frame is used for the FraimLite base level. The FraimLite levels do not have glass shelves, so the devices are placed directly on the veneered frame.

A FraimLite rack consists of a simple base level and several assembly levels, each of which is decoupled from the level below by three spikes and three plates. Like the Fraim, the FraimLite is a stable platform on which audio components function optimally. The FraimLite lets even Naim's entry-level components shine with higher resolution and more realistic dynamics - in short, with more music.
