The focus is on an 8-inch woofer made of woven glass fiber, which guarantees powerful and precise bass reproduction. This is supported by two 2-inch midrange drivers with inverted titanium domes and a 3/4-inch titanium tweeter. Together, these drivers ensure a balanced sound with impressive detail across all frequency ranges.

A special feature is the rotating array that houses the midrange and tweeter. This allows the sound to be directed precisely to the listening area, enabling optimal sound quality in any room. The drivers used come from the well-known McIntosh models XR50 and XR100, so the CS200 offers the same high standard as the brand's freestanding speakers.

Elegant design and easy integration

The design of the CS200 is not only functional but also aesthetically pleasing. The magnetically attached cover can be easily removed and, if required, individually adapted to the room design, as it can be painted. This means that the loudspeaker blends seamlessly into any environment and becomes almost invisible. The CS200 comes with all the necessary mounting mechanisms required for post-construction installation. For special requirements or new construction projects, an optional rough-in kit (#RK200) is available to make installation even easier.
