Dynavector's new 17DX KARAT Diamond phono needle builds on the company's 'dispersion theory', which produced the world's first KARAT series. Dynavector is proud to introduce the all-new 17DX KARAT Diamond Phono Stylus. As with the previous KARAT series, the frequency response of the new KARAT 17DX is extremely linear at 20 to 20,000 Hz, providing extremely precise groove tracking capability. However, several new features will ensure that the new 17DX soon achieves the same legendary status and soon surpasses its predecessors.

Features and improvements

The idea for the new KARAT 17DX was to significantly improve the already legendary original KARAT series. After extensive listening testing and engineering research, the decision was made to incorporate a solid brass body, samarium cobalt magnets to reduce magnetic resistance, unmatched coil winding techniques, an amazing 1.7mm long body and a micro-ridge stylus. All of these elements come together in the brand new KARAT 17DX to delight the listener and provide clear and precise reproduction of analog recordings without any sharpness in the high frequency range.

Technical data
