Moving coil pickup with boron needle carrier and microlinear needle joint
The THORENS TAS 1500 is an MC cartridge made for THORENS in Japan. The aim of the development was the optimal combination of the cartridge in connection with the drive TD 1500 and TD 403 DD and the precision tonearm TP 150.
With an output voltage of 0.4mV (5.5cm / sec) and 12 ohm internal resistance, the pickup harmonizes with all common phono preamplifiers. A bare diamond with a microlinear cut in combination with a solid boron needle carrier guarantee the best scanning ability and sound quality.
