With the Thirty NEO, Acoustic Signature not only celebrates the 30th anniversary of the German manufacturer, but also presents one of the most technically sophisticated turntables in the company's history. Since 1996, Acoustic Signature has been developing and manufacturing high-quality turntables and tonearms, which are appreciated worldwide for their precision, build quality, and sonic performance. The Thirty NEO combines the experience gained from three decades of development work with state-of-the-art technologies and positions itself as an uncompromising high-end turntable for discerning analog enthusiasts.
The anniversary model benefits from numerous technologies previously reserved exclusively for the manufacturer's top-of-the-line models. The result is an exceptionally sophisticated turntable that meets the highest demands for smooth operation, resonance control, and musical authenticity.
Advanced CLD technology for maximum resonance control
A key innovation of the Thirty NEO is the first-ever implementation of the proven CLD (Constraint Layer Damping) technology. The massive 335-millimeter aluminum platter is based on the concept of the flagship Invictus NEO model and features special, bezel-like damping elements around its outer edge.
These elements, mounted on a total of 16 O-rings, work together with the integrated silencer modules to absorb unwanted vibrations particularly effectively. This minimizes resonances and makes the sound reproduction quieter, more precise, and more natural.
The turntable itself weighs an impressive 14 kilograms, and its high mass ensures excellent rotational stability. The concept is complemented by 24 silencer modules that effectively reduce additional vibrations.
Three-motor drive with digital precision control
Acoustic Signature uses three fully isolated AC motors for its drive system. Power is transmitted via a speed-controlled sub-platter drive with a triple belt. This design ensures exceptionally constant speed and minimizes mechanical stress on the platter.
The external DMC-20 motor controller, Acoustic Signature's highest-end digital motor control system, handles the operation. The system features a particularly stable multi-voltage power supply and allows for precise fine-tuning of the speed.
Additionally integrated is AVC Level 3 (Automatic Vibration Control), the manufacturer's most advanced version of automatic vibration control. This technology continuously analyzes and reduces unwanted vibrations, further enhancing the precision and stability of the playback.
DTD® bearings as the heart of the design
At the heart of the Thirty NEO is the proven Dura Turn Diamond® Bearing (DTD®). This high-precision bearing has been one of Acoustic Signature's technological flagships for years.
The diamond-coated spindle ensures minimal friction losses, maximum wear resistance, and exceptionally precise guidance of the turntable. The bearing's extreme rigidity and stability optimize wow and flutter and effectively minimize mechanical influences.
The result is a reproduction with high detail, accurate spatial imaging and remarkable sonic sovereignty.
Solid construction for uncompromising stability
The Thirty NEO's chassis is made of a 72-millimeter-thick aluminum alloy, prioritizing maximum mass and rigidity. The construction is complemented by a solid aluminum base plate, which further improves resonance behavior and ensures stability.
The specially developed, height-adjustable and yellow-damped aluminum feet form a stable three-point setup and effectively decouple the drive from external influences.
Visually, the Thirty NEO blends seamlessly into Acoustic Signature's current NEO generation. Decorative strips integrated into the chassis on the front add subtle design accents and underscore the exclusive character of this anniversary model.
Flexible platform for demanding analog systems
The Thirty NEO is aimed at ambitious vinyl enthusiasts who desire maximum flexibility. The adjustable tonearm base is custom-fitted to the desired tonearm and can be expanded with two additional arm bases.
This allows up to three tonearms with a length of 9 to 12 inches to be mounted simultaneously. This exceptional flexibility enables the use of different cartridge and tonearm configurations within a single turntable.
The integrated control panel ensures convenient control of the most important functions.
