It improves on the great construction of the AS-212 and AS-309 by combining exquisite design, precision manufacturing and attention to detail, resulting in a beautifully crafted tonearm with outstanding performance.

Every component of the Reference has been designed with high mechanical precision and advanced engineering to ensure it moves smoothly and precisely across the record surface. The upgraded, high-quality bearings have been carefully crafted to ensure smooth and precise movement of the tonearm as it follows the grooves of the record. This precise movement ensures that the stylus always stays aligned with the grooves, minimizing distortion and delivering excellent audio quality. The look and feel of the frosted alloy finish provides a comfortable touch and enhances the premium experience.

User-friendly design

Based on well-known Ortofon technology, the tonearm has been designed to be easy to install and operate, with intuitive controls that make it easy to adjust settings and achieve the perfect tone.
The tonearm is statically balanced, simplifying stylus pressure adjustment with weight adjustment and an easy-to-adjust anti-skating feature. In addition, the tonearm is designed according to the Baerwald alignment, which results in a minimal track error.

The Reference Tonearm is a highly versatile accessory that meets the needs of many turntable owners. It is available in two lengths, 9" and 12" and is adjustable in height to fit a variety of turntable models. The tonearm is a great option for vinyl lovers who want to switch between different setups. It is equipped with a universal brass connector that facilitates the connection of cartridges with different headshells and thus offers maximum flexibility and compatibility with your existing setup.

The 5-pin DIN tonearm socket allows the use of a wide range of tonearm cables and makes the Reference tonearm even more versatile and user-friendly.

In addition, each tonearm comes with the high-quality Ortofon 6NX-TSW-1010 tonearm cable and has two counterweight options, making it suitable for a wide range of cartridges from the Ortofon Concorde series to the SPU series, including all cartridges based on fitted to a suitable headshell, increasing adaptability and versatility to suit your specific needs.
