Pro-Ject conquers the entry-level segment with a high-quality alternative that comes complete with arm and cartridge from Ortofon. The new Elemental is "Plug & Play", so no tedious installation of counterweight or anti-skating is necessary, since everything is already preset. The new low-mass tonearm is specially optimized for the Ortofon OM 5E pickup, which is also pre-assembled.
The sound secret of this turntable, however, is the central mass point made of artificial stone, which is attached directly under the turntable. It effectively absorbs vibrations from the engine and platter bearings. This turntable embodies the ultimate in simplicity without sacrificing sound quality!
