The Niagara 5000 features Audioquest's patented AC Ground Noise Dissipation system, the industry's widest bandwidth linearized power filter, and our unique passive/active power peak correction circuitry. With an instantaneous current reservoir for current spikes up to 90 amps, the Niagara 5000 is specifically designed for today's current-hungry power amplifiers. Many line power products with "high current outputs" merely minimize power compression; the Niagara 5000, on the other hand, corrects them.
While it's easy to propagate a particular technology, it's quite another to create a durable, holistic, and fit-for-purpose solution backed by verifiable science. It is not enough to reduce AC line noise and its associated distortion in just one octave, leaving the adjacent octaves and partials to resonant peaks or insufficient noise reduction.
