The Pro-Ject T1 is an entry-level turntable that sets new standards in sound. No plastic, no frills. Pure music! The T1 from Pro-Ject Audio Systems is the first turntable in the T-line to deliver true hi-fi sound quality at a very affordable price. It boasts high-quality materials, a stylish design, and an incredibly vibrant sound. Throughout the extensive development process, Pro-Ject engineers meticulously ensured that, despite the low price, they made no compromises in sound quality.

The CNC-milled chassis, available in high-gloss black, matte white, and satin-finish walnut, is manufactured entirely without cavities, thus preventing any unwanted vibrations within the chassis. In keeping with this philosophy, the belt-driven platter is also made of safety glass. Unlike plastic or lightweight steel platters, this effectively suppresses unwanted resonances.

The T1 tonearm is a new development based on proven Pro-Ject designs. The 8.6" tonearm is made from a single piece of aluminum and equipped with low-friction bearings, ensuring consistently high-precision tracking. The mounted Ortofon OM 5E cartridge with its elliptical stylus transforms this turntable into an uncompromising hi-fi playback device.

Furthermore, the T1 is not supplied with just the usual RCA cables. Instead, it includes superbly shielded, quasi-balanced, low-capacitance phono cables, specially designed by Pro-Ject for connecting turntables. The package also contains a dust cover for added protection and a felt mat to provide a soft surface for your records.

The turntable's counterweight and cartridge are pre-installed. No adjustments or modifications are necessary. After removing the transport lock, attaching the belt, and removing the stylus guard, the turntable is ready to play.
