High-current amplifier for precise music reproduction
The discretely constructed high-current power amplifier delivers 2 × 50 watts into 8 ohms or 2 × 65 watts into 4 ohms. The amplifier design has been optimized with regard to signal routing and noise performance, resulting in a particularly transparent, detailed, and controlled sound reproduction.
Thanks to its high current delivery capability, the MODEL 70 maintains its control even with demanding speakers and higher volume levels, ensuring stable and confident music playback.
Versatile connectivity options
The MODEL 70 combines classic hi-fi connections with modern digital interfaces. An integrated MM phono preamp allows for the direct connection of a turntable, while analog high-level inputs, optical and coaxial digital inputs accommodate additional playback devices.
HDMI ARC allows for convenient connection of the television, so that film and series content also benefits from the high-quality amplifier technology.
For wireless music listening, the MODEL 70 supports Bluetooth including aptX, aptX HD, and aptX Adaptive. This allows for easy connection to compatible smartphones, tablets, or computers. Bluetooth transmission to compatible headphones is also possible.
High-quality audio technology
An integrated ESS Sabre D/A converter handles the signal processing of digital audio sources. This is complemented by the proven Marantz Current Feedback Topology and HDAM-SA3 circuitry, designed for fast signal processing and precise music reproduction.
A toroidal transformer, carefully selected audio components and a solid aluminum heat sink underline the high-quality device construction.
Comfortable operation
Tone controls for bass, treble, and balance allow for individual adjustment to the room and speakers. The Source Direct mode allows the tone controls to be completely bypassed if needed, enabling the most direct processing of the audio signal.
The high-contrast OLED display provides a clear overview of the current operating status and supports convenient operation.
