Toroidal transformer:
Normally intended for Hi-Fi flagships, the A-S1200 benefits from the technical competence and absolute musicality of the toroidal transformer. In combination with other components, it helps to convey the musical emotions to the listener.
Large VU meters:
Large VU meters that hark back to a nostalgic hi-fi era. The level meters visually present the dynamics and pulse of the music and convey a warm feeling with their softly lit LEDs.
Low impedance due to thick cables for the ground connections:
The thick cables for the ground connection are crucial for low impedance. This creates an acoustically open and natural stage image. This brings the artist and the listener even closer together.
Mechanical grounding concept: Like the A-S2200, the A-S1200 also adopts the mechanical grounding concept that starts with the screws of the device feet that are welded directly to the main body, followed by the large heat sink, the power transformers and the block capacitors that are screwed directly to the body. This design eliminates unwanted vibrations and achieves an expressive "groove" in the music.
Solid speaker terminals:
These are high-quality screw terminals with large handles made of pure brass. They ensure a secure connection without any loss in sound quality.
Silver-plated feet:
The A-S1200 complements the rigidity of the housing design with robust, silver-plated feet.
