The Aurender N30SA is designed as an uncompromising digital source for high-resolution audio systems. Its approach follows no trend, but a clear priority: maximum signal integrity through consistent control of interference such as noise and jitter.

Consistent separation for maximum signal integrity

At its core is a consistently separate dual-chassis design. The server and audio sections operate not only logically but also physically isolated. This separation prevents computing processes and power supply from affecting the sensitive digital output stages. The two units are connected via separate power and data lines – a detail specifically designed to minimize interference.

Precise timing as the basis for digital playback

The clock architecture follows an equally clear approach. All relevant digital outputs are controlled by a highly stable OCXO clock module. This ensures that the timing consistency of the signal is maintained even with complex data streams. For systems with even higher synchronization requirements, an external master clock input is available, allowing the N30SA to be integrated into appropriately designed reference chains.

Power supply with functional separation

The power supply is also strictly differentiated. A linear supply provides clean DC power to the audio section, while an independent supply powers the other system components. This concept is complemented by an integrated uninterruptible power supply based on supercapacitors, which compensates for voltage fluctuations and increases operational stability.

System architecture and data processing

In practical use, the N30SA benefits from a clearly defined system architecture. Playback is performed from an SSD-based cache, thus eliminating mechanical or network-related influences during playback. The software is tightly integrated with the hardware, ensuring stable and reproducible performance.

The digital output section is versatile: In addition to USB, a full range of classic interfaces such as AES/EBU and various S/PDIF variants are available, each with precise clock control. This makes the N30SA suitable for both modern USB-focused DACs and classic high-end converters with dedicated digital inputs.
