The T+A MP 2000 R G1 is a versatile, high-end multi-player from the renowned R-series, combining a CD player, network streamer, digital tuner, and DAC at the highest audiophile level in an elegant housing made of silver anodized, brushed aluminum. As a discontinued model, this device offers outstanding, top-of-the-line technology for discerning music lovers.
At the heart of the MP 2000 R lies a meticulously engineered high-end digital-to-analog converter (DAC) that processes PCM signals up to 384 kSp and DSD files up to DSD256. This quadruple converter, developed by T+A, ensures exceptional precision, remarkable detail, and remarkably natural sound reproduction. This makes the device not only suitable as a CD and network player, but also an outstanding high-quality external DAC for digital sources.
In addition to a first-class CD drive, the multi-player offers extensive playback options: Internet radio, Bluetooth with aptX®, DAB/DAB+ and FM/FM-HD radio make the MP 2000 R a flexible control center for modern audio playback. The device integrates seamlessly into the home network via LAN and WLAN and supports numerous high-resolution audio formats such as FLAC, WAV, AIFF and ALAC.
The uncompromising separation of digital and analog signal processing is particularly impressive. The high-quality analog output stage with balanced XLR and unbalanced RCA outputs guarantees clean, low-noise signal transmission at the highest level. External playback devices also benefit from the diverse digital inputs, including USB-B for asynchronous data transfer and multiple S/PDIF interfaces.
The G1 version features the same high-quality DAC as later G3 models.
