Technics SL-1210GR2 with Dynavector DV-10X5MKII – Precision and sound perfection

The Technics SL-1210GR2 is a premium manual, direct-drive turntable that meets the highest demands for sound fidelity and stability. Its S-shaped aluminum tonearm with screw-in headshell glides smoothly over any record thanks to its gimbal mounting, ensuring precise tracking. The adjustable VTA (vertical tracking angle) and removable headshell simplify cartridge changes and offer maximum flexibility.

The Dynavector DV-10X5MKII turntable comes equipped with a high-precision moving-coil cartridge. The characteristic familia-red housing of the 10X series, the Nude Diamond "Shibata III" linear contact stylus, and the improved cantilever ensure outstanding tracking, even with the most demanding record grooves. Innovative technologies such as the magnetic flux damper, reduced magnetism, and powerful neodymium magnets guarantee smooth highs, extended high-frequency response, and excellent musical resolution.

Playback of 33, 45, and 78 rpm is achieved via electronic speed switching. A smooth-running DC motor with the innovative S-Drive speed control ensures precise and constant speed, while the pitch adjust slider and integrated stroboscope allow for fine-tuning of ±16%.

The two-layer die-cast aluminum platter (2.5 kg) with a rubber mat reduces resonances and ensures clean tracking. Together with the two-layer chassis construction made of aluminum and BMC, this creates an exceptionally stable foundation for pristine vinyl sound. Additional features such as gold-plated RCA connectors, a detachable phono cable, height-adjustable silicone feet, integrated stylus illumination, and a removable acrylic dust cover complete the package.

Manufactured in Osaka, Japan, the SL-1210GR2 represents decades of hi-fi tradition and utmost reliability. With its integrated Dynavector DV-10X5MKII cartridge, it offers audiophiles a complete, worry-free package for top-level vinyl enjoyment.
