KEF S-LUXE Stand – Precise decoupling and perfect positioning for the KEF LS LUXE
The KEF S-LUXE speaker stand was specifically designed for the KEF LS LUXE active hi-fi bookshelf speakers. As a custom-designed accessory, it combines mechanical stability, acoustic optimization, and a seamless design. It ensures precise speaker alignment at ear level and creates the physical conditions for accurate, uncolored sound reproduction.
Acoustic perfection through optimal listening position
For spatially accurate imaging and a stable stereo foundation, the placement of the loudspeaker is crucial. The S-LUXE stand elevates the Uni-Q® driver of the KEF LS LUXE precisely onto the ideal high-frequency listening axis. This allows the directivity and phase relationship of the point source principle to fully develop without disruptive reflections from nearby furniture surfaces.
Mechanical coupling and vibration damping
Unwanted resonances and cabinet vibrations impair the detail reproduction in the midrange and treble. The S-LUXE efficiency addresses this at the very foundation:
Fixed screw connection: Integrated threaded holes enable a rigid mechanical connection between the speaker and the stand.
Mass and stability: With a weight of 6.8 kg per base, a massive, low-vibration base is created that effectively absorbs energy.
Spike decoupling: The included floor spikes provide defined decoupling of the structure. High-quality spike protection discs are included to protect sensitive wood and parquet floors without compromising acoustic insulation.
Integrated cable management
For a clean, uncluttered look, the internal cable management system routes all power and signal cables invisibly through the interior of the column. This seamlessly continues the organic design of the KEF LS LUXE series – free from visible cable clutter.
