Clearaudio N2 – Versatile moving magnet cartridge with carbon fiber housing

The Clearaudio N2 expands Clearaudio's moving magnet portfolio with a highly flexible, low-resonance system. Building on the field-proven generator technology of the N1, the N2 combines modern materials science with precise signal processing for clean, distortion-free vinyl playback.

Carbon fiber reinforced resonance control

The N2's housing is made of newly developed, carbon fiber-reinforced PETG. This material combination gives the cartridge high structural rigidity while simultaneously damping unwanted resonances. The result is a stable, transparent sonic foundation across the entire frequency spectrum.

Maximum compatibility for a wide variety of tonearms

With a weight of just 8.5 grams, the Clearaudio N2 seamlessly integrates into the requirements profile of both modern and classic tonearms from a wide variety of manufacturers. Combined with an output voltage of approximately 3.3 mV, it proves extremely versatile with regard to downstream phono preamplifiers (MM inputs).

Suitable for everyday use thanks to an innovative plug-in system

The N2 combines audiophile standards with high user-friendliness. The innovative plug-in system for the stylus cantilever allows for quick and easy stylus replacement – simply performed directly on the mounted cartridge, without having to realign the entire body.
