The Talismann V2 Gold represents the entry into the latest 'V2' generation of the Clearaudio MC cartridges below the 1,000 _ class.
The new improvement was made possible by a patented magnetic circuit arrangement of 8 magnets, which is characterized by extremely high dynamics.
As with all new MC pickups of the 'V2' generation, the Talismann V2 Gold now also uses the Micro HD scanning diamond (HD = High Definition) and an excellent born needle carrier. The Micro HD Diamond offers optimal contact with the groove flanks of the record and reproduces the finest sound details thanks to its extremely low mass.
The system body of the new Talismann V2 Gold consists of hand-polished ebony with a built-in resonance-dampening metal plate and a metal block. As the name 'Gold' suggests, the gold coils of the clearaudio Talismann V2 Gold are now also made from gold wire and installed in the MC generator. With these unique features, the Talismann V2 Gold MC cartridge stands out technically and visually in an extraordinary way from other cartridges in its price and performance class. The naturalness of the music reproduction and an enormously balanced, unadulterated spectrum of images give this new pickup the distinction 'particularly valuable'!
