Precision and craftsmanship at the highest level

The Signature 12.2 is a turntable that combines technological excellence with high-quality materials and meticulous craftsmanship. Each unit is made by skilled craftsmen, with all metal parts hand-polished. Around 100 different CNC-machined parts from our own production are used. The machining and assembly of each component takes around two days. The MDF chassis is painted in ten layers and then hand-polished to ensure a timeless, luxurious finish. The design with increased dimensions and rounded edges helps to minimize standing waves, while the precise CNC processing largely avoids unwanted resonances.

bearing and plate construction

A stable turntable bearing ensures constant rotation speeds. The Signature 12.2 uses an inverted ceramic bearing with magnetic support, which minimizes noise and resonance. The 10.5 kg turntable made of CNC-machined aluminum is combined with recycled vinyl, which serves as a low-resonance base. The "sandwich design" is baked and precisely balanced, creating a resonance-free base. The magnetic decoupling reduces the load on the main bearing and enables low-vibration operation.

tonearm design and anti-skating mechanism

The 12-inch S-shaped aluminum tonearm has been further developed. A fine thread on the counterweight allows precise adjustments of the tracking force. The anti-skating mechanism automatically adjusts the necessary counterforce to the inner and outer grooves of the record and has been optimally positioned on the tonearm. A 5P DIN connector on the base ensures easy connection options, while the VTA (vertical tracking angle) setting can be made intuitively.

sub-chassis

The decoupled sub-chassis made of TPE-reinforced aluminum isolates the turntable and tonearm from the main chassis and the motor block. This design helps to minimize unwanted resonances and increases sound quality. The resonance-optimized design and easy adjustment of the sub-chassis support precise adaptation to different setups.

3-point pivot tonearm bearing

The tonearm bearing is based on a 3-point system that ensures even load distribution and reduced friction. This design improves stability compared to conventional uni-pivot bearings and offers greater detail in playback. Even heavy pickups can be easily integrated.

engine block and flywheel drive

A vibration-free flywheel belt drive ensures stable speeds. The motor is mounted in an aluminum block, which further dampens vibrations. Highly polished elements underline the elegant design.

Electronic speed control

The playback speeds are controlled electronically via a precise generator designed for 33 and 45 rpm. The control panel does not have a display to avoid possible electromagnetic influences and relies on haptic elements for intuitive use.
