The application possibilities of the MI502 are virtually limitless: as a front speaker power source in a home cinema, as a drive for two wall-mounted subwoofers, or in dual use, so that both the three front channels of a home cinema and a (passive) subwoofer are driven.
With a rack-friendly height of 2U, the MI502 power amplifier can also be installed discreetly in an AV rack using the included mounting brackets. The highly efficient Class-D amplification requires no (sometimes noisy) fans to maintain the rated operating temperature.
The MI502 stereo power amplifier features the classic McIntosh protection systems Power Guard®, Sentry MonitorTM and Power Control, as well as an on/off signal detection system.
