The Luxman CL-38uC is a classic tube preamplifier that combines tradition, elegance, and high-end technology. Visually, the rosewood cabinet evokes the golden age of hi-fi, while its internal components combine modern circuit designs with high-quality, specially developed parts.

Tube sound with precision

In the CL-38uC, the SRPP (Shunt Regulated Push Pull) circuit in the phono, tone control, and amplifier sections ensures a linear frequency response, low distortion, and low output impedance (300 Ω). This design also guarantees a longer tube lifespan.

The integrated phono preamp supports MM and MC cartridges. Step-up transformers and a two-stage gain selector are available for MC cartridges. Bass and treble controls feature three-stage switchable crossover frequencies to tailor the sound to your preference.

Symmetrical inputs with special transformers facilitate integration into existing high-end systems, while the included aluminum remote control allows for convenient volume control from the listening position.
