Architectural acoustics and amplification

Invisible sound conversion without compromise

The acoustic foundation is formed by the Wisdom Audio Sage L75i in-wall loudspeakers. Their substantial height creates a linear sound dispersion pattern (line source) with enormous acoustic volume. Equipped with large planar magnetic planar tweeters , these in-wall systems operate with extremely low distortion and exhibit outstanding impulse response. This guarantees even sound distribution across all listening positions and effortless playback even at the highest volume levels.

The front system is complemented by two Wisdom Audio S 90i in-wall subwoofers . Thanks to their deep tuning, they blend seamlessly into the room's architecture and provide a foundation with high, cinematic dynamics. The Wisdom Audio SA-3 3-channel amplifier provides the necessary power, maintaining absolute thermal and electrical stability even under extreme impulse peaks and continuous high load.

Sharpness and plasticity through laser DLP

The SIM2 UltraNero 4S is used for projection. The combination of proven DLP technology and a long-lasting laser light source ensures pinpoint image sharpness, natural color fidelity, and high light output without artificial sharpening artifacts.

Ambient Light Optimization (ALR)

The image unfolds its full depth on the Stewart Cascade Grande G2 motorized screen (equipped with FireHawk or Phantom ALR fabric). This special material absorbs distracting ambient light and reflects the projected light precisely towards the listening position. The result is deep blacks, richly detailed highlights, and maximum image dynamics – even in rooms that are not completely dark.

Dynamic tone mapping and format management

The high-end Lumagen Radiance Pro 4240-C-18-G video processor performs real-time analysis of the video signal. Through intelligent Dynamic Tone Mapping, it utilizes the full potential of HDR material without sacrificing detail in dark or bright image areas. Furthermore, it enables seamless, automatic format adjustments between CinemaScope and IMAX sequences without disruptive masking switches.

Studio-level room correction

The StormAudio ISP Core 16+ multichannel preamplifier controls the entire system with high computational precision. Using the reference-level Dirac Live calibration software, room modes, reflections, and time alignment differences are effectively corrected. Accurate tuning to the specific room acoustics guarantees holographic localization of sound objects and precise dialogue intelligibility.

Signal source and cabling

The Magnetar UDP 900 MK II universal player ensures lossless signal transmission, reading Ultra HD Blu-rays natively and uncompressed. High-frequency data transmission between the video components is guaranteed by the AudioQuest Dragon 48G HDMI cable , which transmits the highest bandwidths stably and without interference, even over longer distances.
