With the new D-100 CENTENNIAL, Luxman presents an exceptional top-of-the-line SACD/CD player, developed to celebrate the company's 100th anniversary.

As a logical evolution of the Luxman D-10X introduced in 2020, the D-100 CENTENNIAL sets new standards in drive technology, digital architecture, and analog output stages. The goal is even greater sonic purity and reference-level musical expressiveness.

Newly developed drive system

At its heart is the newly developed LxDTM-i (Luxman original Disc Transport Mechanism – improved) drive system, which is fully integrated into the main chassis. It ensures exceptionally quiet, precise, and vibration-free disc transport. A dustproof mechanism with a smooth-gliding drawer underscores the high-quality construction. Mechanical stability is achieved through 8 mm thick aluminum side panels, a 5 mm thick steel top plate, and an additional 8 mm aluminum bottom plate. This robust construction effectively isolates the sensitive mechanism from external vibrations.

Maximum channel separation and precision

In the digital domain, the state-of-the-art ROHM BD34302EKV digital-to-analog converter from the "MUS-IC" series is used – here in a dual-mono configuration for maximum channel separation and precision. This is complemented by a newly developed, high-precision clock control with a large crystal oscillator and an extremely low-noise clock IC, enabling particularly stable and natural signal processing.

The analog output stage is based on the latest generation of the company's proprietary LIFES (Luxman Integrated Feedback Engine System) in version 1.1. Its fully symmetrical design significantly improves error correction and ensures a lively, dynamic, and natural sound character.

Visually, the D-100 CENTENNIAL adopts the characteristic design language of the high-end series, featuring the distinctive "waistline" between the front and top. A large OLED display ensures excellent readability and underscores the modern, high-quality appearance.
