Precise interface between USB and SPDIF
The UC100 is a specialized USB-to-SPDIF converter designed for seamless integration within the Aurender architecture. It performs lossless conversion of a USB audio signal into a coaxial SPDIF signal (RCA, 75 ohms), thus enabling the integration of external D/A converters that lack a native USB input or whose SPDIF section is sonically preferred.
The connection is made directly via the USB audio output of a compatible Aurender system. The UC100 acts as a dedicated interface without unnecessary signal processing steps – with the aim of passing on the original digital signal as faithfully as possible.
Designed for Aurender systems
The UC100 is designed exclusively for use with select Aurender models. Its optimization for this platform ensures stable data transmission and avoids the typical incompatibilities of generic USB audio interfaces. Supported models include the N150, ACS10, ACS100, A200, A15, A20, and A30.
Use with other USB audio sources is not intended.
High-resolution signal processing
With support for up to 24-bit/192 kHz, the UC100 fully covers the relevant high-resolution PCM formats. Furthermore, it transmits DSD64 via DoP (DSD over PCM). This makes the converter suitable for demanding playback chains that process both classic PCM and DSD content.
Reduced complexity, maximum signal purity
The UC100 deliberately omits additional functions or settings. Its compact design and pure signal conversion minimize potential sources of interference and keep the signal path clearly defined. Power is supplied directly via the USB bus (5V), eliminating the need for a separate power supply.
