At its heart lies a sophisticated dual-mono D/A converter with two AKM AK4493 converters. Separate processing of the two channels ensures clean channel separation and precise signal processing. It supports high-resolution PCM signals up to 32-bit/768 kHz and DSD up to DSD512. Together with the discrete Class-A output stage, this results in detailed, stable, and musically cohesive playback.

As a modern streaming DAC, the DS-1000 EVO LINE offers numerous options for digital music playback. It supports Roon, AirPlay, Tidal, Qobuz, Deezer, and vTuner, among others. With Tidal Connect and Spotify Connect, playback can be controlled directly via the respective apps. Network connectivity is provided via LAN or WLAN, allowing the DS-1000 EVO LINE to be flexibly integrated into existing home networks.

A key advantage of the LINE version is its integrated Class A analog preamplifier. Thanks to its discrete circuitry, external analog sources can be directly integrated into the system. Both RCA and XLR inputs are available for this purpose. This allows, for example, the connection of a phono preamplifier, a CD player, or another analog source without the need for a separate preamplifier.

The combination of high-quality digital technology and analog Class-A processing enables exceptionally versatile use. The DS-1000 EVO LINE can be used as the central preamplifier in a high-end system, connecting digital streaming sources with classic analog components. At the same time, the RCA and XLR outputs provide flexible connections to power amplifiers or active loudspeakers.
