The Gryphon PSU 5 is more than just a power supply – it's the precisely engineered power source for Gryphon's high-end preamplifiers, such as the Helios. Housed in a separate, solid enclosure, it ensures complete separation of the power supply and signal paths. This minimizes interference and maximizes the acoustic purity of the amplifier circuits.
Two individually controlled channels supply each preamplifier channel separately. The internal power supply uses extremely low-noise circuitry and a large capacitor bank, ensuring that even complex musical passages are reproduced with the highest level of detail and spatial depth. Local shunt controls further ensure effective suppression of any remaining noise.
The PSU 5 offers additional DC outputs, enabling the connection of further Gryphon components and thus guaranteeing flexible system integration. Together with the Helios, it creates an acoustic powerhouse: controlled, authoritative, and uncompromisingly precise.
